Ioffe Institute is the publisher and founder, together with the Russian Academy of Sciences, of five well-known Russian scientific journals: Teсhnical Physics (ISSN: print 1063-7842, online 1090-6525), Technical Physics Letters (ISSN: print 1063-7850, online 1090-6533), Physics of the Solid State (ISSN: print 1063-7834, online 1090-6460), Semiconductors (ISSN: print 1063-7826, online 1090-6479), Optics and Spectroscopy (ISSN: print 0030-400X, online 1562-6911). These journals are translated into English and distributed open-access through this journal portal.
We are pleased to announce that on February 7, 2023, the ISSN International Centre, coordinator of the National Centres under UNESCO support, transferred the ISSNs of the English translations of all five Ioffe journals (Technical Physics, Technical Physics Letters, Physics of the Solid State, Semiconductors, Optics and Spectroscopy) from USA to Russia. Ensuring correct location of the legitimate publisher in the ISSN record is essential for journal indexing in all databases. We are confident that Web of Science and Scopus will reflect these changes in the very near future.
