In this work, we studied the temperature stability of Cd+ centers having different nearest environments, mainly on calcium fluoride crystals. The results of various optical and thermal transformations of these centers are also presented. It is shown that the attachment of an anionic vacancy to a Cd+ ion increases its thermal stability in a crystal. Keywords: luminescence, alkaline earth fluorides, absorption spectra.
