LiScGeO4 and LiScSiO4 compounds were obtained by solid-phase synthesis from Li2CO3, Sc2O3, GeO2 (SiO2). Their crystal structure has been refined using X-ray diffraction. The high-temperature heat capacity (320-1050 K) of the obtained lithium-scandium germanate and silicate was measured by differential scanning calorimetry. The thermodynamic properties were calculated based on the experimental data about heat capacity. Keywords: differential scanning calorimetry, solid-phase synthesis, thermodynamic properties.
